LUT Blossom 2026: Where Science Connects and Collaboration Begins

10:00 AM – 8:00 PM EET

LUT University's Lahti Campus

Mukkulankatu 19, Lahti, Finland

Science Diplomacy Summit 2026

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET

Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center

555 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, D.C. 20001

On April 13–14, Science Diplomacy Summit 2026 will convene global leaders at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center, continuing its rapid rise as a premier forum where science meets diplomacy to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. The summit was co-founded by our very own Ona Ambrozaite and Nobel laureate Peter Agre, a partnership that reflects its core mission of bridging scientific expertise with global policy.

A central moment this year will be the Science Diplomacy Grid–led session: Circles of Trust: How Science Diplomacy Networks Respond, Adapt, and Lead (April 14, 2:10–3:10 PM). This interactive discussion will explore how international networks – connecting governments, academia, industry, and civil society – serve as critical infrastructure for responding to crises, from global health threats to AI governance and food security.

Featuring leading voices including Dawn O'ConnellJuliet GerrardMathilde Cerioli, and Guillaume Lhermie, the session will examine how trust is built and sustained across borders, and how emerging technologies like AI and global data-sharing platforms may reshape collaboration in the decade ahead.
