The Embassy of Austria in Washington, D.C., and the Science Diplomacy Grid are delighted to host the 4th Global Quantum Strategies Overview event, taking place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:30 PM at the Embassy of Austria.
As pre-event to the Quantum World Congress 2026, the 4th Global Quantum Strategies Overview will convene leading voices from academia, government, and industry to discuss the latest developments in Quantum Information Science and Technology (QIST) and to foster new international collaborations.

How do we navigate the future of our oceans through science, policy, and collaboration?
Join scientists, diplomats, policymakers, and coastal leaders for an evening exploring ocean diplomacy, from deep-sea research to maritime law. Diplomacy Below the Surface brings diverse voices together to tackle urgent conservation and climate challenges.
Hear from Dr. Melody Brown Burkins on Arctic science diplomacy, gain insights from leading ocean researchers, and join the conversation about building cooperation across disciplines. This isn't just about policy or science. It's about imagination and action shaping the future of ocean stewardship.
